Job summary

Jobot, a West Coast leader in HVAC sheet‑metal fabrication, seeks an entry‑level Sheet Metal Fabricator. The role focuses on takeoffs, estimating, and collaboration with fabrication, PM, and field teams to reflect actual production hours.

You’ll learn ductwork estimation, plans/specs analysis, and bid development, with mentorship and exposure to high‑visibility projects across the Western U.S. Competitive pay and full benefits accompany growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• 0–2 years in construction (internships, shop/field time, design/drafting, or estimating all count).
• Beginner proficiency with Bluebeam and Excel.
• Curiosity about how things are made; ability to read drawings.
• Clear, concise communication and asking questions when needed.

Responsibilities

• Read plans and specs to quantify materials and labor.
• Contribute to live bids with senior estimator review; assist with scopes/alternates/inclusions.
• Coordinate with fabrication, PM, and field to validate production hours and logistics.
• Use modern tools and estimating platforms; training will be provided.
