Job summary

Wrench Group is hiring an HVAC Service Technician to join a growth-minded Midwest leader. You will perform residential service, maintenance, tune-ups, inspections, and repairs with a focus on quality and customer trust.

Requirements include a valid driver's license, 2+ years HVAC troubleshooting/repair, strong communication, and basic HVAC tools. EPA 608 certification and NATE are preferred; ServiceTitan experience is a plus. Eligible for benefits and a company vehicle.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years HVAC troubleshooting and repair experience.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Have basic HVAC tools in possession.

Responsibilities

• Perform residential service, maintenance, tune-ups, inspections, and repairs.
• Diagnose HVAC system issues and recommend appropriate solutions.
• Complete service calls safely, efficiently, and to company standards.
• Communicate clearly with dispatch, customers, and internal teams.
• Accurately complete service invoices and job documentation (100% accuracy).
• Properly close out jobs immediately after completion.

What Will I Do?

As an HVAC Service Technician, you’ll be trusted to deliver high-quality service while representing the company with professionalism and integrity.

• Perform residential service, maintenance, tune-ups, inspections, and repairs
• Diagnose HVAC system issues and recommend appropriate solutions
• Complete service calls safely, efficiently, and to company standards
• Communicate clearly with dispatch, customers, and internal teams
• Accurately complete service invoices and job documentation (100% accuracy)
• Properly close out jobs immediately after completion
• Maintain a clean, organized company vehicle
• Use ServiceTitan (or similar software) to manage work orders and documentation
• Participate in ongoing training to sharpen your skills and grow your career

Do I Have What It Takes?

We’re looking for professionals who take ownership of their work and care about their craft.

Required:

• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required to drive company vehicle
• Minimum 2 years of HVAC troubleshooting and repair experience
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Have basic HVAC tools in possession

Preferred (but not required):

• EPA 608 Certification (Type I & II required; Universal preferred)
• NATE Certifications (Core + specialties) preferred, not required
• Experience using ServiceTitan
