Job summary

Wrench Group is seeking an HVAC Service Technician to join a large Midwest network. You’ll deliver high-quality residential service, perform maintenance, tune-ups, and repairs with professionalism and integrity.

Requirements include 2+ years of HVAC troubleshooting/repair, a valid driver’s license, and solid communication with customers. You’ll work with company tools and use ServiceTitan, with growth opportunities and a strong benefits package.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Minimum 2 years of HVAC troubleshooting and repair experience.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Have basic HVAC tools in possession.

Responsibilities

• Perform residential service, maintenance, tune-ups, inspections, and repairs.
• Diagnose HVAC system issues and recommend appropriate solutions.
• Complete service calls safely, efficiently, and to company standards.
• Communicate clearly with dispatch, customers, and internal teams.
• Accurately complete service invoices and job documentation (100% accuracy).
• Properly close out jobs immediately after completion.
• Maintain a clean, organized company vehicle.
• Use ServiceTitan (or similar software) to manage work orders and documentation.
• Participate in ongoing training to sharpen your skills and grow your career.

Qualifications

Do I Have What It Takes?

We’re looking for professionals who take ownership of their work and care about their craft.

Required:

• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required to drive company vehicle

• Minimum 2 years of HVAC troubleshooting and repair experience

• Excellent communication and customer service skills

• Have basic HVAC tools in possession

(but not required):

• EPA 608 Certification (Type I & II required; Universal )

• NATE Certifications (Core + specialties) , not required

• Experience using ServiceTitan
