Job summary

Southern Air Heating Cooling & Plumbing is seeking a motivated HVAC Service Technician to join our Monroe/Ruston team. This in-person role offers uncapped pay via hourly rate plus commission, with a base salary range of $60,000 to $120,000 per year.

The ideal candidate has 1–5 years of HVAC service experience, a relevant HVAC degree or cert, and a valid driver's license. EPA Type II is preferred. You will diagnose, repair, and recommend equipment while delivering outstanding customer service.

Qualifications

• 1–5 years HVAC service experience required.
• HVAC degree or equivalent field experience with certification from a technical/trade school.
• Valid driver's license with clean motor vehicle record required.
• Ability to handle heavy equipment.
• EPA Type II (Preferred).

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair HVAC and refrigeration equipment.
• Present recommendations for new equipment and provide value to customer.
• Demonstrate effective problem-solving skills.
• Prioritize customer service and satisfaction.
• Attend periodic company or manufacturer training.
• Participate in safety training and adhere to all safety policies and procedures.
• Consistently handle at least 50 lbs.
