Blue Dot Heating, Air Conditioning in Havre de Grace, MD seeks an experienced Residential HVAC Service Technician. You will diagnose, service and repair home comfort systems across Maryland in hands-on, customer-facing roles.

Top pay ranges from $25–$40+ per hour with commissions. Company offers insurance, 401(k), PTO, holidays, life insurance, a take-home vehicle, uniforms, and weekly direct deposit. Training toward Journeyman/Master licenses is provided.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of HVAC service tech experience.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Able to pass background and drug screening.
• Ability to work in attics, crawlspaces, and lift heavy equipment.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair residential HVAC systems with speed and accuracy.
• Service and repair split systems.
• Heat pumps and gas furnaces.
• Boilers (gas/oil where applicable).
• Air handlers and thermostats / zoning controls.
• Check indoor air quality components.
• Troubleshoot electrical, airflow, refrigerant, ignition.
• Verify system performance after repairs.
• Explain problems, solutions, and pricing to homeowners.
• Document diagnostics and repairs in the system.
• Work safely in attics, crawl spaces, and tight spaces.
• Keep vehicle and tools clean and professional.
• Follow safety, EPA guidelines, and Maryland licensing.
