Job summary

Capstone Mechanical, LP. is seeking an HVAC Service Technician based in Fort Myers, FL. You will install and maintain heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and boiler systems, testing data and recommending actions to customers.

This role reports to the Service Manager and supports field operations with a home dispatch model including a company vehicle and gas card. The position requires a high school diploma and at least 5 years of HVAC experience, knowledge of electrical systems, and physical

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with 5 years HVAC operation, maintenance and repair experience.
• Knowledge of HVAC repairs, maintenance, installation techniques, electrical circuits, wiring and motors.
• Physically able to operate a variety of machinery and equipment; lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to work in a field environment with possible outdoor conditions.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and test systems to verify compliance with plans and specifications or to detect malfunctions.
• Determine customer concerns with HVAC and boiler systems.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean work area.
• Talk with customers to isolate problems or verify resolution.
• Record faults and time/materials expended on work orders.
• Install/adjust thermostats, humidistats, and timers.
• Coordinate with repair and maintenance teams to assist in other work.
