Job summary

Capstone Mechanical, LP. is seeking an HVAC Service Technician to install and maintain heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and boiler systems.

You will perform data tests, analyze results, and provide recommendations to customers to ensure proper operation and lifecycle performance. The role requires a strong ability to inspect, troubleshoot, and balance systems, with emphasis on safety and teamwork in a field/office environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and 5 years of HVAC operation, maintenance and repair experience.
• HVACR knowledge including repairs, maintenance, and installation techniques.
• Ability to read blueprints, diagrams, schematics, and written reference material.
• Strong safety and compliance with procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine repairs to pump seals, bearing, etc.
• Inspect and test systems to verify compliance and detect malfunctions.
• Record and report faults, deficiencies, and time/materials on work orders.
• Install thermostats, humidistats, and timers.
• Coordinate with repair and maintenance teams to assist in other work.
• Study blueprints and manufacturers' recommendations to ensure proper installation.
