Job summary

Upgrade Resources is seeking an HVAC Service Technician (Levels I–IV) for on-site work in the DFW Metroplex, TX. The role covers preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of commercial HVAC systems across a four-level ladder with increasing independence and responsibilities.

Ideal candidates have 1+ year for Level I up to 10+ years for Level IV, EPA 608 Universal, Texas TDLR, and a clean driving record. Compensation ranges from $25 to $55 hourly with full-time benefits.

Qualifications

• EPA 608 Certification required (Universal for Level IV).
• Texas TDLR Registration required.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• HVAC service experience across Levels I–IV; residential/L1 acceptable at Level I.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on rooftop units and split systems.
• Complete routine service calls and minor repairs under supervision and then independently.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and refrigerant failures on commercial HVAC equipment.
• Service cooling towers, packaged units, air handlers, pumps, VAVs and other equipment.
• Conduct airflow diagnostics, duct balancing, and static-pressure testing.
• Troubleshoot multistage, variable-speed, and VRF/VRV systems and interpret wiring diagrams.
• Mentor junior technicians and share knowledge.
