Job summary

Trane Supply is seeking a Service Technician to commission, troubleshoot, repair and start up HVAC systems in commercial settings in the Denver area. You’ll use air conditioning theory, pipe fitting and mechanical layouts to deliver high-quality service on-site.

The role requires a High School Diploma or equivalent with 5+ years in HVAC, EPA certification, and a valid driver’s license. Travel, overtime and weekend work may be required based on project needs.

Qualifications

• A High School Diploma or equivalent required, and typically 5 plus years of experience in HVAC.
• Technical School or formal training in HVAC is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates with team leader/project manager and customer to understand requirements for on-site installation and repairs by forecasting issues, gathering materials and synchronizing on-site work.
• Represents the company as the direct customer contact and is responsible for products and equipment on assigned projects, ensuring customer satisfaction by diagnosing and repairing equipment and systems at the customer’s location.
• Uses cutting edge software and technology, along with a variety of hand-tools, following blueprints or engineering specifications, to diagnose and repair units.
• Maintains safety to the highest standards and accountability of company assets; works overtime and occasional overnight stays as needed.
