Job summary

Criterion Plumbers is seeking a dedicated HVAC Service Technician to join our Idaho Falls team. The role requires a journeyman license or equivalent, and involves installing, maintaining, and repairing HVAC units across residential, commercial, and industrial settings to ensure optimal performance and customer satisfaction.

The candidate should have 2+ years of residential HVAC experience, a High School diploma or equivalent, strong problem-solving skills, and excellent communication to interact

Qualifications

• Must have or be willing to obtain within 1 week of hire date - Universal EPA Certificate.
• Minimum of 2 years of residential HVAC service experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational/technical training or apprenticeship preferred.
• Extensive knowledge of HVAC systems, tools, and equipment.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work effectively with power and hand tools.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with customers.
• Must be able to handle physically demanding work, including lifting up to 50 pounds and working in various environmental conditions.
• Valid driver's license and ability to pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Install new HVAC systems in residential, commercial, or industrial buildings.
• Perform routine maintenance to ensure proper functioning of HVAC systems.
• Inspect and troubleshoot existing HVAC units to identify issues.
• Install necessary replacement parts on HVAC systems.
• Comply with industry safety standards and regulations.
• Document all work performed and maintain accurate records.
• Assist in other related duties as assigned by management
