Qualifications

• 3–5 years of HVAC service experience.
• Pre-employment background check.

• Valid driver's license.
• Clean driving record required.

Responsibilities

• Perform HVAC maintenance checks and services on residential systems.
• Troubleshoot repair options and conduct safety and performance tests.
• Check for carbon monoxide and natural gas leaks.
• Maintain truck inventory and document service details.
• Communicate system status to homeowners during/after service.

The primary duties of a Service Technician are to perform maintenance checks and services for HVAC systems. Troubleshooting various residential systems and diagnosing repair options. Safety and performance tests are conducted for each system(s) as well as checking the area for carbon monoxide and natural gas leaks. A heavy emphasis is placed on customer service. Daily tasks include the technical aspect of the job, collecting payments, giving accurate and detailed information about each home and situation, maintaining truck inventory levels, among others. Communication with homeowners about the status of their system after the service has been performed.
