The Service Technician will work independently or as part of a team and will be responsible for the installation, startup, troubleshooting, commissioning, and servicing of commercial HVACR equipment, systems, and units.
The job description is not exhaustive; the Service Technician will follow and perform other instructions and related duties as set forth by management.
Must be able to handle and lift tools and equipment used in air conditioning service work. Regularly required to stand, use hands, talk, hear, walk, reach, and occasionally sit. Must be able to lift up to 10 pounds regularly, up to 50 pounds frequently, and more with assistance. Vision abilities include close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception, and focus adjustment. Reasonable accommodations are available.
Technician’s Degree or equivalent from a Technical/Trade School with an HVAC certificate and five years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Basic computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office are required.
