Job summary

Daikin Applied, the world’s largest HVAC company, is seeking a full-time HVAC Service Technician II for onsite work in Greensboro, NC. You will service a range of commercial equipment, from rooftop units to boilers, while training through Daikin programs and leading junior technicians.

You will perform preventive maintenance, repairs, and warranty tasks, ensuring safety and high standards, with opportunities for growth and advanced certifications as you progress.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Associates Degree or HVAC certification preferred.
• 3+ years of HVAC experience.
• Valid Driver's License and acceptable driving record.
• Local licenses or training cards as required by law.
• Rotational Emergency Call Support availability as required.
• EPA Universal Technician Certification preferred.
• OSHA 10 certification preferred.
• Current first aid/CPR card preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance of commercial HVAC equipment including logging machines, cleaning coils, replacing filters and belts, and lubrication.
• Repair and replacement of defective equipment and wiring related to fan coils, heat pumps, AHUs, rooftops, boilers and condensers.
• Inspect equipment to prevent breakdowns and callbacks.
• Coordinate warranty service by inspecting and testing systems.
• Guide Level I technicians through troubleshooting and repairs.
• Introduce centrifugal rebuilds under guidance from Leads and Level III technicians.
• Record billing, inventory, timecards, and reports timely.
• Interact with customers providing status updates and explain technical information clearly.
