Job summary

Daikin Applied is seeking a full-time HVAC Service Technician II in Greensboro, NC. You will service commercial and industrial equipment including rooftops, chillers, boilers, and water source heat pumps.

The role includes hands-on training and opportunities to work with cutting-edge technologies. Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, repairs, and warranties, while mentoring junior technicians and documenting service activities.

Qualifications

• HVAC servicing and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with commercial/industrial HVAC equipment preferred.
• EPA/OSHA certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance on commercial HVAC equipment and log activities.
• Repair and replace defective components across multiple HVAC systems.
• Inspect equipment to prevent breakdowns and ensure safety compliance.
• Handle service calls and communicate status to customers.
• Mentor Level I technicians and participate in ongoing training.

HVAC troubleshooting

3+ years experience

Valid Driver's License

Safety awareness

Education

High School Diploma or GED

Associates Degree or HVAC certification

EPA Universal Technician Certification (preferred)

OSHA 10 (preferred)
