Job summary

Daikin Applied in Greensboro, NC is seeking a full-time HVAC Service Technician II to service commercial and industrial equipment onsite. You will receive comprehensive training and work on rooftop units, chillers, boilers, and more, with opportunities to grow through hands-on mentoring.

The role includes leading Level I technicians, servicing systems, and ensuring safety and compliance while maintaining documentation and communicating with customers. Sign-on bonus may be available.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in HVAC or related industry.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Associates Degree or technical HVAC certification preferred.
• Valid Driver's License and acceptable driving record.
• EPA approved Universal Technician Certification (preferred).
• OSHA 10 certification (preferred).
• Current first aid / CPR card (preferred).
• Rotational Emergency Call Support availability as required.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance of commercial HVAC equipment including logging machines, cleaning coils, brushing tubes, replacing filters, belts and lubrication.
• Repair and replacement of defective equipment and wiring related to fan coils, water source heat pumps, AHUs, rooftops, cooling towers, and condenser tubes.
• Inspect equipment to identify potential problems to prevent breakdowns or callbacks.
• Perform warranty service inspection and testing to verify HVAC functionality.
• Direct Level I technicians through hands-on troubleshooting and repair steps.
• Introduction to centrifugal rebuilds with Lead and Level III technicians.
• Record and report billing, inventory, timecards, and other articles timely.
• Explain technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
