Job summary

Daikin Applied, the world's largest HVAC company, seeks a full-time HVAC Service Technician II in Greensboro, NC. You will service commercial and industrial equipment, participate in comprehensive training, and work onsite with a vehicle, tools, and technology provided.

A sign-on bonus may be available. Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, repair, warranty testing, customer communication, and mentoring Level I technicians.

Qualifications

• HVAC experience in commercial/industrial settings.
• EPA Universal Technician Certification preferred.
• OSHA 10 certification preferred.
• Valid Driver's License with acceptable driving record.
• Local license/training as required by law.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance of commercial HVAC equipment including logging machines, cleaning coils, brushing tubes, replacing filters and belts.
• Repair and replacement of defective equipment, components, or wiring for fan coils, water source heat pumps, AHUs, rooftops, cooling towers, and condensers.
• Inspect equipment to identify problems to prevent breakdowns or callbacks.
• Perform warranty service inspections and testing of HVAC systems.
• Direct Level I technicians through troubleshooting steps.
• Introduction to centrifugal rebuilds with Lead and Level III technicians.
• Record billing, inventory, timecards, and reports in a timely manner.
• Explain technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Participate in Daikin Training and maintain required certifications.
• Maintain a clean work area and follow safety policies.
• Follow OSHA and Daikin safety policies.
