Job summary

Stark Tech is seeking a field Service Technician to perform HVAC installation and service across residential, commercial, and industrial settings. You will conduct routine maintenance, diagnose and repair malfunctions, recharge refrigerants, and implement energy-efficiency upgrades while adhering to safety standards and customer requirements.

The role involves responding to emergency calls, repairing generators, and commissioning new systems.

Qualifications

• HVAC installation and service in residential, commercial, and industrial settings.
• Performing routine maintenance tasks and warranty work to ensure efficient and safe operation of HVAC systems.
• Diagnosing and troubleshooting system malfunctions and performing HVAC or ATC repairs.
• Recharging refrigerant levels, checking for leaks, and ensuring refrigerant cycle operation in AC and refrigeration.
• Energy‑efficiency upgrades such as smart thermostats or duct sealing.

Responsibilities

• Execute field service activities including preventative maintenance, inspections, start-ups, and emergency repairs.
• Maintain safety standards and effective communication with clients to manage expectations and satisfaction.
• Repair generators and respond to emergency calls.
• Commission new systems as required.

Job Responsibilities

The (HVAC) Service Technician is responsible for executing field service activities, including preventative maintenance, inspections, start‑ups, and emergency repairs, ensuring the safe and efficient operation of systems according to design specifications and customer requirements. This role demands meticulous system troubleshooting capability, strict adherence to safety standards, and effective communication with clients to manage expectations and ensure satisfaction.

You should be able to repair generators, respond to emergency calls, and commission new systems. This position is part of the union and will follow the policies, benefits and perks set forth under the local's Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA). The hourly rate is dependent on the level of expertise and includes pension, health insurance and annuity. The Company provides the necessary tools, equipment, vehicle with gas card, clothing, laptop, and cell phone.

Work Experience

• HVAC installation and service in residential, commercial, and industrial settings
• Performing routine maintenance tasks and warranty work to ensure the efficient and safe operation of HVAC systems.
• Diagnosing and troubleshooting system malfunctions, then performing the appropriate HVAC or ATC system repairs.
• Recharging refrigerant levels, checking for leaks, and ensuring the refrigerant cycle is functioning correctly in air conditioning, and refrigeration systems.
• Performing energy‑efficiency upgrades, like installing smart thermostats or sealing ducts
• Current New Hampshire driver's license
• Must be EPA 608 certified for Refrigerants
