Job summary

Sirius Plumbing and Air Conditioning is seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to install, service, or repair heating and cooling systems in homes or commercial settings. EPA-certified HVAC experience is required.

You are a team player who can work independently and takes pride in completing customer jobs efficiently and with a positive attitude. Responsibilities include repairing HVAC systems, establishing rapport with customers, testing for leaks, and verifying electrical continuity.

Qualifications

• Past experience as HVAC service technician or comparable education.
• EPA Certification is required.
• Experience with operation and maintenance of chillers, heat pumps, air handlers, and geothermal systems.

Responsibilities

• Repair or service HVAC systems to improve efficiency (filters, ducts, refrigerants).
• Establish customer rapport to ensure high satisfaction.
• Test pipes/tubing for leaks using a pressure gauge or soap solution.
• Test electrical circuits for continuity; repair or replace defective equipment.

• Repair or service heating, ventilating, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems to improve efficiency, such as by changing filters, cleaning ducts, or refilling non-toxic refrigerants
• Establish customer rapport to ensure the highest levels of satisfaction
• Test pipe or tubing joints or connections for leaks, using a pressure gauge or soap-and-water solution
• Test electrical circuits or components for continuity, using electrical test equipmentRepair or replace defective equipment, components, or wiring

Qualifications:

• Past experience as an HVAC service technician or comparable education
• Valid Drivers License
• EPA Certification
• Experience with operation and maintenance of chillers, heat pumps, air handlers, and geothermal systems
• Ability to climb ladders, crawl, and lift 40 pounds
