HVAC Service Technician (HVAC Tech) - Summary

• Diagnose, service, and repair heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems for residential and commercial customers.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Provide expert service, maintenance, and repair for residential and commercial HVAC systems.
• Diagnose electrical and mechanical issues with heating, cooling, and ventilation equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance, warranty service, and end-of-life repairs as required.
• Clearly communicate system issues, repair options, and recommendations to customers.
• Travel to customer locations and represent Bob Jenson Air Conditioning, Heating & Plumbing professionally at all times.
• Maintain accurate and detailed service records using an app-based field service management system.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Completion of HVAC vocational training or an apprenticeship is preferred.

• Strong knowledge of air conditioning, refrigeration, and heating systems.
• Working knowledge of boiler systems a plus.
• Excellent troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with customers.
• Comfortable working in confined spaces and able to respond to after-hours, weekend, or holiday service requests as needed.
• Familiarity with ServiceTitan or similar app-based field service management systems preferred.
