Job summary

Trane Technologies is seeking an HVAC service technician to serve as the primary on-site contact for a defined commercial market. You will commission, troubleshoot, repair, and startup HVAC systems, leveraging your knowledge of air conditioning theory, pipe fitting, and mechanical layouts.

Role requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and 5+ years of HVAC experience; EPA certification and journeyman license are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; technical school or formal training preferred.
• EPA Certification Journey Person Mechanical License required.
• 5+ years of HVAC experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates with team leader and customer to understand requirements for on-site installation and repairs.
• Represents the company as the direct customer contact and manages equipment on assigned projects to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Uses tools and blueprints to diagnose and repair units.
• Willing to work overtime and weekends as business requires, including occasional overnight stays.
• Adheres to safety standards and maintains accountability for company assets.
