Job summary

Rodenhiser Home Services, Inc. in Holliston, MA is seeking an experienced HVAC technician to complete preventive maintenance on our in-house installed systems. You will educate customers on system status and service options while maintaining accurate invoices and clean service trucks.

You should have 1–3 years in the field, EPA universal certification, and active trade schooling or apprenticeship credentials. A valid license and knowledge of safety standards are required.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years in the field.
• Capable of preventive maintenance on HVAC systems 10 years old or newer.
• Knowledge of gas pressures, sub cool, super heat, combustion tests and static pressures.
• Current Apprenticeship card/license or formal trade schooling.
• Intimate knowledge and use of related trade tools/equipment.
• Must have completed trade schooling or equivalent experience.
• Must have current EPA universal certificate.
• Knowledge of HVAC/Plumbing and gas codes and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Complete preventive maintenance calls on HVAC systems installed by Rodenhiser.
• Educate customers on system status and issues.
• Explain replacement opportunities for aging or inefficient systems.
• Establish customer rapport to recommend appropriate products and services.
• Assist customers in choosing finance options and maintenance plans.
• Maintain a clean, organized job site and well-inventoried truck.
• Ensure accurate and timely invoices, time cards, and feedback.
