Job summary

Mid-Florida Heating & Air is seeking a customer-centric A/C Service Technician to diagnose and repair HVAC systems across Central Florida. The role requires traveling to homes and businesses, performing maintenance, and delivering exceptional customer service while identifying opportunities to upsell maintenance contracts.

The candidate should have 3-5 years of HVAC experience, a valid driver's license, and the ability to troubleshoot electrical systems using schematics, ensuring safety

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• One-year related experience in the HVAC industry or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Proven ability to complete a service diagnosis and complete minor repairs.
• 5-years related experience in the HVAC industry or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Lead Setting experience.
• CTUs tune ups / CTUs responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Travel to homes and businesses daily as scheduled.
• Troubleshoot electrical systems in the AC and diagnostic repairs.
• Familiar with new equipment and high-end communicating systems.
• Perform maintenance and repairs on HVAC systems (HVAC).
• Diagnose system issues and recommend repairs or replacements; ensure safety compliance.
• Sell maintenance contracts to new customers.
• Inspect current HVAC systems for efficiency and safety.
• Maintain inventory of HVAC tools and parts.
