Job summary

Service Experts Heating & Air Conditioning in New York is seeking a self-motivated HVAC Service Technician to diagnose, repair and maintain residential and light commercial systems. You’ll interact with customers, present options, and ensure satisfaction while adhering to safety standards.

Under minimal supervision, you will analyze equipment, perform servicing, document activities, coordinate with dispatch, and promote product sales where appropriate.

Qualifications

• Solid understanding of HVAC systems; previous Installer/Maintenance/Service Technician experience.
• Technical training certification.
• HVAC sales experience with direct consumer selling preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Valid licenses/certifications as required by local laws including EPA.

Responsibilities

• Perform residential and light commercial service and maintenance calls.
• Diagnose, analyze, and resolve customer problems in a courteous and timely manner.
• Present comfort options of HVAC and water heater products to customers.
• Promote products and services to customers to aid retention and satisfaction.
• Document service activities and collect payments.
• Coordinate with dispatch for status updates.
