Job summary

Service Experts Heating & Air Conditioning in Clifton Park, NY is seeking a Maintenance Technician I to perform diagnostic and service work on residential and light commercial HVAC equipment. You will analyze problems, complete routine maintenance, and communicate clearly with customers to ensure satisfaction.

Under supervision, you will handle parts, support dispatch, and promote service opportunities while upholding professional standards and safety. 2+ years of HVAC experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with additional HVAC training and 1–2+ years’ experience.
• EPA and safety certifications required per local regulations.
• Ability to read wiring diagrams and troubleshoot electrical, refrigerant and duct systems.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic and service work on residential and light commercial HVAC equipment.
• Analyzes, diagnoses, and resolves customer problems in a courteous, timely manner.
• Performs maintenance on heating, cooling, ventilation and refrigeration equipment.
• Inspects equipment, records data, and orders/replenishes parts as needed.
• Communicates with dispatch to provide accurate status updates.
• Represents the company professionally and maintains safe, organized job sites.
• Regular, reliable attendance and willingness to work flexible hours.
