Ace Hardware Home Services in Fairborn, OH is hiring an HVAC Service Technician to deliver exceptional residential service. You will diagnose and repair traditional forced-air, steam, and hot water systems, using advanced diagnostic tools, while maintaining truck inventory for flat-rate repairs.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of HVAC service experience preferred.
• EPA Universal Certification preferred.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC industry best practices and building codes.
• Proficient in all aspects of HVAC function.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Deliver an exceptional experience through efficient service and effective communication.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair residential equipment, including traditional forced-air systems, steam, and hot water-based systems.
• Utilize specialized diagnostic tools to tackle airflow, fuel, refrigerant, and electrical challenges.
• Maintain necessary truck inventory for flat-rate repairs.
• Educate customers on improving the comfort, efficiency, and safety of their homes.
• Assist in developing junior service technicians.
• Adhere to all AHHS systems and administrative details related to the service department.
