Sunset Heating/Cooling, Plumbing, & Electrical is seeking an HVAC service technician to join a tight‑knit, locally owned team in Oregon. You’ll service, fix, and optimize HVAC systems while upholding the company’s values of trust, customer focus, and excellence.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of HVAC service or maintenance experience.
• You fit in a family‑oriented, community‑focused environment.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license with satisfactory driving record.
• Professionalism and pride in your work and appearance.
• Willing to submit to pre-employment background check and drug test.

Responsibilities

• Clean, adjust and repair HVAC systems including reheat coils, air handling units, ducts and vents.
• Troubleshoot HVAC systems and equipment to diagnose issues.
• Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults in HVAC systems.
• Identify maintenance risks on equipment.
• Perform emergency repairs promptly and efficiently.
• Ensure compliance with appliance standards and Occupational Health and Safety Act.
• Track repairs and work completed in Service Titan.
• Engage with customers to explain issues, solutions and outcomes and recommend products.

What You'll Do

• Troubleshoot HVAC systems and equipment to diagnose
• Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults in HVAC systems
• Identify maintenance risks on equipment
• Perform emergency repairs promptly and efficiently
• Ensure compliance with appliance standards and with Occupational Health and Safety Act
• Track repairs and work completed in trade software, Service Titan
• Engage with customer/client to inform them of issue, solution and outcome; recommend products and services for optimal system performance
