Job summary

ARS-Rescue Rooter in California is seeking an experienced HVAC Service Technician to join our busy team. You will diagnose and repair residential HVAC systems, present options to customers, and ensure high-quality service.

With $35–$50 per hour plus commissions, company-provided take-home vehicle with gas card, and a comprehensive benefits package, you can grow with us through training and opportunities to advance into management.

Qualifications

• 3 years of residential HVAC experience.
• EPA certification (or ability to obtain).
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Must pass background and drug screening.
• Ability to enter attics, crawlspaces, and lift heavy equipment.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and address the customer’s HVAC concerns and present options to customers.
• Successfully perform all service repairs at a high proficiency level to customer’s satisfaction.
• Understand and follow proper diagnostic procedures when servicing and repairing equipment.
• Acquire necessary tools to perform professional HVAC service.
• Completes all required documentation on services, explains guarantees/warranties and collects, records and delivers fees to the office.
• Attend weekly training meetings.
