Job summary

ARS-Rescue Rooter in San Diego, CA is hiring HVAC technicians to perform comprehensive maintenance inspections and improve system performance, comfort, safety, and energy efficiency. You will clearly explain findings, present repair and indoor air quality options, and deliver excellent customer service while meeting sales goals.

The role requires at least 1 year of residential HVAC experience, EPA certification (or ability to obtain), and a valid driver’s license.

• EPA certification (or ability to obtain).
• HVAC school graduates may apply.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive HVAC maintenance inspections and identify opportunities to improve system performance, comfort, safety, and energy efficiency.
• Build trust with customers by clearly explaining equipment condition, maintenance findings, and recommended solutions.
• Present repair, replacement, and indoor air quality options that address the customer's needs and goals.
• Deliver an exceptional customer experience while consistently meeting sales and revenue objectives.
• Perform maintenance services in accordance with company standards and manufacturer specifications.
• Accurately document maintenance findings, recommendations, and completed work using company software and mobile technology.
• Explain warranties, guarantees, maintenance agreements, and financing options to customers.
• Maintain a professional appearance, positive attitude, and customer-focused approach at all times.
• Utilize company-provided sales and communication processes to maximize customer value and satisfaction.
• Attend weekly training meetings to enhance technical knowledge, communication skills, and sales effectiveness.
• Maintain and utilize the tools and equipment necessary to perform professional HVAC maintenance services.
