Job summary

Adkins Heating and Air Conditioning is seeking an experienced HVAC technician to service residential and light commercial systems across Knoxville and surrounding towns. You will diagnose issues, perform maintenance, and complete repairs with accuracy while keeping thorough service records.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year HVAC experience or completion of an HVAC training program.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to lift up to 60 pounds and work safely on ladders.
• Strong troubleshooting and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Service residential and light commercial HVAC systems in Knoxville, TN and nearby areas.
• Diagnose HVAC issues and complete repairs efficiently and accurately.
• Perform preventative maintenance, testing, evacuation, charging, and brazing.
• Maintain accurate service records and submit paperwork promptly.
• Collect customer payments when required and keep vehicle organized.
• Participate in rotating on-call schedule one weekend per month.
• Deliver professional customer service on every service call.

Your New Role

• Service residential and light commercial HVAC systems throughout Knoxville, TN and surrounding areas including Oliver Springs, Harriman, Clinton, Oak Ridge, Rockwood, Kingston, Lenoir City, Loudon, and Sunbright

• Diagnose HVAC system issues and complete repairs efficiently and accurately

• Perform preventative maintenance, system testing, evacuation, charging, and brazing

• Maintain accurate service records and submit paperwork promptly

• Collect customer payments when required

• Keep company vehicle clean, stocked, and organized

• Participate in a rotating on-call schedule one weekend per month

• Deliver professional customer service during every service call

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

• At least 1 year of HVAC experience or completion of an HVAC technical training program

• Ability to lift up to 60 pounds and work safely on ladders

• Basic HVAC hand tools required
