Job summary

Hosack Plumbing, Heating & Cooling in O’Fallon, MO seeks an experienced Residential HVAC Service Technician who can diagnose, repair, and educate homeowners on repair, maintenance, and replacement options. You will work year-round with strong earning potential and a supportive team.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of residential HVAC service experience required.
• EPA certification required.
• NATE certification preferred.
• Experience with ServiceTitan preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair residential HVAC systems.
• Perform HVAC maintenance, service repairs, and system enhancements.
• Identify system concerns and recommend appropriate solutions.
• Educate homeowners on repair, maintenance, indoor air quality, and replacement options.
• Clearly communicate findings, pricing, and recommendations.
• Build trust with customers through professional, honest service.
• Identify opportunities to improve homeowners’ comfort, efficiency, and system reliability.
• Order necessary parts and maintain company tools and equipment.
• Respond to warranty and emergency service calls as needed.
• Maintain company standards for safety, professionalism, and customer service.

High earning potential – $80,000–$250,000+ annually based on performance

What You’ll Do

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair residential HVAC systems

What We’re Looking For

• 3+ years of residential HVAC service experience required
• Strong HVAC diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
• Comfortable discussing repair and replacement options with homeowners
• Strong communication and customer-service skills
• Motivated by performance and earning potential
• Ability to confidently present solutions without high-pressure sales tactics
• Experience with ServiceTitan preferred
• EPA certification
• NATE certification preferred
• Heat pump and inverter-system experience is a plus
• Basic hand tools
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
• Ability to successfully complete required background and drug screening

Schedule

• Full-time
• Monday–Friday
• Rotating weekends and on-call responsibilities
• Year-round work — we stay busy in every season
