Job summary

Ponds Plumbing is seeking a Heating and Air Conditioning Service Technician to join our Davis County family. You will diagnose and repair furnaces, air conditioners, and rooftop units, with opportunities to expand skills and earn more.

We offer on-the-job training, a supportive team, sign-on bonus, benefits, and a steady year-round workload. This in-person, local role requires North Salt Lake commute.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of HVAC experience preferred, but not required.
• RMGA and EPA certifications required.
• Must have basic hand tools, a multimeter, and refrigerant gauges.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair residential furnaces and air conditioners.
• Perform maintenance on residential systems.
• Diagnose and repair commercial rooftop units.
• Manage service vehicle inventory and cleanliness.
• Complete invoices and tune-up forms.
• Talk with customers.

We are looking for heating and air conditioning service technician. We work on a wide variety of equipment, including furnaces, air conditioners, boilers, heat pumps, chillers, geothermal, and more. Whether you are starting an HVAC career or are a seasoned veteran, we have a place for you in our team. There are several opportunities to expand your skills and advance. We also have bonus and incentive programs available.
* Sign on Bonus to be paid out after 60 day probation period.

Responsibilities of this job position are as follows;

• Diagnose and repair residential furnaces and air conditioners
• Perform periodic maintenance on residential furnaces and air conditioners
• Diagnose and repair commercial roof top units
• Perform periodic maintenance on commercial roof top units
• Responsible for the inventory and cleanliness of a service vehicle
• Complete invoices and tune up forms associated with work done
• Talk with customers

1 - 2 years experience preferred, but not required
