Job summary

Carpenter Heating & Cooling in Ogden, UT, seeks an HVAC Service Technician with residential and light commercial experience to join our locally owned team. You will service and maintain systems, perform installations, and help customers decide on repairs or replacements.

Qualifications

• 3+ years' experience in residential and/or commercial HVAC service.
• EPA Universal Certificate.
• Valid driver's license and insurable driving record.
• High school diploma or equivalent; HVAC school desired.

Responsibilities

• Service & maintenance on residential and light commercial heating and air conditioning systems.
• Replacing parts and supporting replacement installations.
• Consulting with customers about repair and replacement decisions.

Locally owned heating, air and ventilation contractor has been serving the local community since 1960! We specialize in service, maintenance and installation of residential and light commercial HVAC equipment.

We are currently looking for an HVAC Service Technician to join our team, someone with HVAC service and installation experience with residential and light commercial equipment.

Job Title: HVAC Service Technician

Pay Scale: $30.00 to $40.00 per hour, we pay based on experience + Spiffs

Location: Ogden, Utah

Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, Overtime as needed.

Work Hours: 7:30am to 3:30pm.

What you will be doing:

Qualifications / Skills:

1. Valid driver's license & Insurable driving record
2. 3 + years' experience in residential and/or commercial HVAC service

4. Advanced customer service skills
5. Knowledge of basic sheet metal practices
6. Knowledge of air balancing principles and techniques
7. Certificate of completion from a HVAC Technical School desired
8. High school diploma or its equivalent

Candidates will be required to pass a background check and drug test upon being given a conditional offer of employment.
