Job summary

Design Air, Inc. in Missoula, MT is seeking a skilled HVAC Service Technician to perform residential and light commercial service and maintenance, including diagnostics of refrigeration cycles, air flow, mini splits, and heat pumps.

The position offers a competitive hourly range, a take-home company vehicle with gas card, company uniform and phone, ongoing training, and a comprehensive benefits package including medical insurance, PTO, holidays, IRA match, and a spiff/bonus program.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of HVAC residential service experience.
• EPA Universal Certification.
• Advanced troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
• Solid understanding of HVAC system design and ductwork modifications.
• Valid driver's license with insurable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Residential & light commercial service & maintenance.
• Annual maintenance, cleaning and diagnostics.
• Diagnostics for refrigeration cycles, air flow, mini splits and heat pumps.
• Working with low and high voltage.
• Customer service & communication with customers on system enhancement products and replacement options.
• Assist with training junior technicians.

HVAC Service Technician | $32.00 to $42.00 per hour, depending on experience

Work Schedule: Monday through Friday

Work Hours: 7:30am to 4:30pm
