Job summary

Tassio Temperature Control is seeking an HVAC Service Technician with a commercial focus to service restaurants, offices, and retail spaces in the Los Angeles area.

You will inspect, diagnose, and repair commercial systems, build client relationships, and guide customers to optimal long-term solutions. This role emphasizes safety, efficiency, and professional, on-site service.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience servicing residential and commercial HVAC systems.
• Strong diagnostic, repair, and mechanical skills.
• Experience reading electrical schematics and performing tests.
• Valid CA driver’s license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Fully inspecting systems and providing smart, honest recommendations.
• Diagnosing and repairing HVAC issues with technical expertise (brazing, electrical schematics, static pressure, superheat & subcooling).
• Identifying opportunities for new equipment and larger repairs; guiding customers to best solutions.
• Using AI-assisted tools to sharpen sales technique and close rates.
• Building relationships with clients and educating them on system operation.
• Delivering a 5-star experience on every visit; maintaining safety and cleanliness.

Requirements

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of experience servicing residential and commercial HVAC systems strongly preferred
• Strong diagnostic, repair, and mechanical skills
• EPA certification required; NATE certification strongly preferred
• Experience with Lennox and Carrier equipment a plus
• A self-starter who also takes direction well and communicates clearly
• Sharp problem-solving skills and an eye for detail
• Physical readiness for the job: comfortable lifting up to 75 lbs, working at heights, in confined spaces, and in all outdoor conditions
• A valid CA driver's license with a clean driving record, and ability to pass a background check
