Job summary

Neffsville Heating, Cooling & Plumbing is seeking experienced HVAC Service Technicians to diagnose, repair, and maintain residential and light commercial systems in the Lancaster area.

The role offers a Friday–Monday four 10-hour shift schedule, guaranteed hours, overtime, and minimal on-call, with tools, a take-home truck, and competitive pay up to $70/hour plus weekly bonuses.

Qualifications

  • Three or more years of residential or light commercial HVAC experience.
  • Availability to work Friday through Monday, four 10-hour shifts.
  • Strong HVAC diagnostic, troubleshooting, and mechanical skills.
  • Knowledge of residential heating and cooling systems, components, and repair techniques.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate with a team.
  • Strong work ethic and commitment to quality workmanship.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to meet company driving requirements.
  • Ability to safely lift, carry, and move HVAC tools, equipment, and materials.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain residential and light commercial HVAC systems.
  • Service heating, ventilation, and air conditioning equipment, including thermostats and controls.
  • Perform preventive maintenance, system inspections, and equipment evaluations.
  • Identify system concerns and recommend appropriate repair or replacement solutions.
  • Ensure all work meets applicable safety standards, codes, and company procedures.
  • Deliver a professional, positive customer experience on every service call.
  • Clearly explain system issues, recommended solutions, and completed repairs.
  • Communicate effectively with customers, Dispatch, and other team members.
  • Accurately document work orders, materials used, service findings, and recommendations.
  • Maintain a professional appearance and treat customers' homes with care and respect.
  • Coordinate with Dispatch to support efficient scheduling and routing.

Position Summary

In this role, you will diagnose, repair, and maintain residential and light commercial heating and cooling systems while providing homeowners with knowledgeable, professional service. The ideal candidate has strong diagnostic skills, takes ownership of each service call, and is committed to delivering quality workmanship and an exceptional customer experience.

What You’ll Do
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain residential and light commercial HVAC systems.
  • Service heating, ventilation, and air conditioning equipment, including associated thermostats and controls.
  • Perform preventive maintenance, system inspections, and equipment evaluations.
  • Identify system concerns and recommend appropriate repair or replacement solutions.

What We’re Looking For
Required Qualifications
