Job summary

Hearn Plumbing, Heating, & Air in Madison, OH is hiring HVAC Service & Maintenance Technicians to service, repair, and propose equipment replacements for our Madison clients. You will represent our family-run business while visiting customers, keeping up with manufacturer recommendations and local codes.

We offer strong earning potential with $50k–$100k first-year earnings, 5% commission on sales, full healthcare coverage, a 401(k) with matching, and paid training.

Qualifications

• Must be customer-service focused & have experience interacting with people (phone or in-person).
• Prior sales experience or background in selling products/services is a plus, but not required.
• Must take pride in your work and maintain a clean driving record.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug test.
• HVAC technician experience is a huge plus, not required.
• Trade school and/or EPA Universal certification a plus.

Responsibilities

• Service and repair HVAC equipment for Madison, OH clients.
• Propose HVAC equipment replacements while following manufacturer recommendations and local codes.
• Maintain compliance with manufacturer guidelines and local regulations.
• Provide excellent customer service and represent the company professionally.

Skills / Qualifications:

• A good attitude and a willingness to learn and be coached/mentored
• Must be customer-service focused & have experience interacting with people (phone or in-person)
• Prior sales experience or background in selling products/services PLUS, not required
• Must take pride in your work!
• Previous experience in HVAC as a Technician is a HUGE PLUS, not required
• Prior trade school and/or EPA Universal certification a plus!
• Basic understanding of math/arithmetic
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Ability to pass a background check and drug test
