Job summary

Boothe's Heating, Air, Plumbing & Electrical is seeking an experienced Residential HVAC Service Technician to join our Hollywood team. You will run your own truck, diagnose and repair HVAC systems, educate customers, and deliver 5-star service while maintaining safety and code compliance.

We offer competitive hourly pay ($18–$35), a company vehicle, 2 weeks PTO, holidays, health benefits, 401(k) matching, and ongoing paid training in a fast-paced, team-focused environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in HVAC maintenance, diagnosis, and repair.
• EPA Universal license required (we can help you obtain it).
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to work independently.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Experience with ServiceTitan is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair residential HVAC systems.
• Educate customers on performance, maintenance needs, and upgrade options.
• Generate quotes, process payments, and document work performed.
• Maintain truck inventory and coordinate with dispatch and parts.
• Mentor HVAC apprentices and support their growth.
• Participate in on-call rotation as needed.
• Deliver a 5-star customer experience and ensure code compliance.
• Keep a clean, professional appearance.

Qualifications

What We're Looking For

• Experience: 3+ years in HVAC maintenance, diagnosis, and repair (must have run your own truck)
• Certification: EPA Universal license required (we can help you get it if needed)
• Technical Skills: Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to work independently
• Customer Service: Excellent communication skills and a commitment to exceeding expectations
• Detail-Oriented: Organized, thorough, and committed to doing the job right the first time
• Requirements: Valid driver's license, clean driving record, background check, and drug screen
• Bonus: Experience with ServiceTitan is a plus!
