Job summary

Boothe’s Heating, Air, Plumbing & Electrical in Hollywood, MD, is growing and seeking an experienced Residential HVAC Service Technician to join our team. You’ll run your own truck, diagnose and repair residential systems, educate customers, generate quotes, mentor apprentices, and help us deliver 100% customer satisfaction in a fast-paced, positive environment.

A 3+ year track record, EPA Universal license, valid driver’s license, and ability to pass background/drug checks are required;

Qualifications

• 3+ years in HVAC maintenance, diagnosis, and repair with hands-on experience running your own truck.
• EPA Universal license required (we can assist with obtaining it).
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to work independently.
• Excellent communication and customer-service skills.
• Valid driver's license, clean driving record, background check, and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair residential HVAC systems.
• Educate customers on system performance, maintenance needs, and upgrade options.
• Generate accurate quotes, process payments, and document all work performed.
• Maintain truck inventory and communicate with dispatch/parts.
• Mentor HVAC apprentices and support their growth.
• Participate in on-call rotation as needed.
• Maintain a clean, professional appearance and deliver a 5-star customer experience.
• Complete all work to meet local, state, and national codes.
