Anton’s Plumbing Heating/Cooling & Energy Experts in Fenton is seeking an HVAC Service Tech to join our team, helping maintain and repair residential heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. You will diagnose issues, provide effective solutions, and guide customers to confident buying decisions with outstanding service.

Ideal candidates have strong technical skills, excellent customer service, and a commitment to quality workmanship.

Qualifications

• EPA Type II or EPA Universal certification required.
• Clear background check.
• Current driver’s license with clean driving record.

Responsibilities

Position Overview:

As an HVAC Service Tech, you will play a vital role in the maintenance and repair of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in residential settings. You will diagnose and repair heating and cooling systems and lead customers to informed and confident buying decisions by providing extraordinary customer experience. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent customer service skills, and a commitment to quality workmanship.

Your Day-to-Day:

• Maintaining and repairing HVAC systems including air conditioners, furnaces, heat pumps, and ductwork.
• Diagnosing and troubleshooting HVAC system issues and provide effective solutions.
• Performing routine maintenance and inspections to ensure optimal system performance.
• Communicating with clients to explain system issues and repair solutions in a clear, professional manner.
• Maintaining accurate records of work performed and parts used.
• Following safety protocols and industry standards during all service activities.
• Keeping up-to-date with industry advancements and participate in training as required.
• Servicing a variety of systems including ACs, Furnaces, Mini-splits, Boilers, etc.

What Does It Take?

• Current driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Clear background check.
• EPA Type II or EPA Universal certification
• Outgoing, professional, clean-cut, and drug-free.
• Quick, sound decision-making abilities.
• Highly motivated, flexible, with a great attitude towards life.
• Ability to demonstrate the proper and safe use of tools and related equipment.
• Must be able to work in small attics and tight spaces.
• Effective communication skills both individually and in a team environment.

Pay:

• $30.00-$40.00/per hour depending on years of experience
