Position Overview:

This Plumbing & Drain Technician is responsible for temporarily restoring flow to customers\' home drain lines and generating leads for our sewer team while also utilizing their plumbing experience to service and repair residential plumbing systems. This role requires daily interaction with multiple customers and participation in an on-call duty rotation to meet the needs of after-hours calls. The goal is to ensure high-quality workmanship and customer satisfaction, providing comprehensive solutions to meet the home repair needs of the clients.

Your Day-to-Day:

• Locate blockages and temporarily restore flow to home drain lines.
• Utilize plumbing experience to service and repair residential plumbing systems, including tanked and tankless water heaters.
• Educate customers on better practices to care for their sewer and plumbing systems.
• Convert jobs into leads for the Sewer Sales team to develop long-term service options for clients.
• Establish and maintain customer rapport to ensure the highest levels of customer satisfaction.
• Provide comprehensive solutions to customers, assisting them in making the best decisions for their homes and families.
• Collect client information and maintain accurate interaction notes.
• Inform customers about company perks like memberships and financing options.
• Collect payment for completed work, providing necessary documentation to the customer and the company.
• Participate in all required company trainings and meetings.
• Serve on an on-call duty rotation.
• Travel to customer homes.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

What Does It Take?

• Minimum of 3 years of plumbing, sewer and/or drain experience.
• Service system experience preferred.
• Ability to service tanked and tankless water heaters.
• Effective interpersonal communication skills.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting abilities.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license.
