Job summary

Hiller Plumbing, Heating, Cooling & Electrical is hiring a skilled HVAC Technician to service residential systems. You will perform repairs, inspections and diagnostics to code, while explaining issues and solutions to customers in a clear, courteous manner.

We offer competitive hourly pay from $25 to $35, a strong benefits package and opportunities for career growth at multiple locations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 to 5 years of verifiable HVAC field experience.
• Strong knowledge of residential air conditioning, heating, and ventilation systems.
• Ability to troubleshoot refrigerant, electrical, and duct issues.

Responsibilities

• Perform HVAC repairs to applicable codes.
• Conduct thorough HVAC inspections.
• Communicate clearly with customers about questions and concerns.
• Maintain courteous professionalism with customers and team members.

Skills

3–5 years HVAC experience

Education

GED or High School Diploma

EPA Certification preferred

NATE Certification preferred

HVAC Diploma preferred

Job Responsibilities

• Perform all HVAC repairs to applicable codes.
• Perform a thorough and accurate HVAC inspection
• Effectively communicate with the customer regarding questions, concerns and problems.
• Maintain a courteous demeanor with customers and associates at all times.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Have a minimum of 3to 5 years of verifiable work experience in the HVAC industry.
• Knowledge of the fundamental operational functionality of residential air conditioning, heating, and ventilation equipment.
• Ability to troubleshoot problems with refrigerant, electrical, and duct systems on HVAC equipment.

Requirements

• A High School diploma or general education degree (GED) required
• Valid driver’s license
• EPA Certified preferred.
• NATE Certification preferred.
• HVAC certification or Diploma preferred.
