Job summary

Hiller is seeking a skilled HVAC Technician in Huntsville, AL to perform repairs and inspections on residential HVAC systems. You will communicate with customers, diagnose issues, and ensure high-quality service while upholding company values. A high school diploma or GED is required, with EPA/NATE certifications preferred.

Compensation ranges from $25 to $35 per hour, with benefits including health insurance, 401k, paid time off, and paid training. Valid driver’s license required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years of verifiable HVAC industry experience.
• Knowledge of residential air conditioning, heating, and ventilation systems.
• Strong troubleshooting skills for refrigerant, electrical, and duct systems.

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform all HVAC repairs to applicable codes.
• Perform a thorough and accurate HVAC inspection
• Effectively communicate with the customer regarding questions, concerns and problems.
• Maintain a courteous demeanor with customers and associates at all times.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Have a minimum of 3to 5 years of verifiable work experience in the HVAC industry.
• Knowledge of the fundamental operational functionality of residential air conditioning, heating, and ventilation equipment.
• Ability to troubleshoot problems with refrigerant, electrical, and duct systems on HVAC equipment.

Requirements:

• A High School diploma or general education degree (GED) required
• Valid driver’s license required
• EPA Certified preferred.
• NATE Certification preferred.
• HVAC certification or Diploma preferred.

$25 - $35 an hour
