Job summary

Comfort Systems USA - Ohio is seeking an experienced Commercial HVAC Service Technician to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain complex commercial systems. You’ll work independently, travel to customer sites in a company vehicle, and help keep equipment running safely and efficiently.

You’ll diagnose mechanical, electrical, refrigeration, and control issues, read wiring diagrams, and support less-experienced techs while upholding the highest safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Hands-on commercial HVAC service experience.
• Ability to read wiring diagrams and schematics.
• EPA refrigerant certification and valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain commercial HVAC systems.
• Travel to customer locations in a company vehicle.
• Perform preventive maintenance and system testing.

• Mentor less-experienced technicians when needed.

Commercial HVAC Service Technician You know your way around commercial HVAC equipment, and when something isn’t working right, you know how to figure out why. We're looking for an experienced Commercial HVAC Service Technician to join Comfort Systems USA Ohio. If you enjoy troubleshooting challenging service calls, working independently, and taking pride in getting the job done right, this could be a great fit.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining commercial HVAC systems
• Working on RTUs, AHUs, heat pumps, boilers, split systems, pumps, motors, and commercial cooling equipment
• Diagnosing mechanical, electrical, refrigeration, airflow, and controls issues
• Performing preventive maintenance, repairs, startups, and system testing
• Talking with customers about what you found and what you recommend
• Helping less-experienced technicians when they need another set of eyes
• Traveling to customer locations in a company-provided service vehicle

What We’re Looking For

• Solid hands-on commercial HVAC service experience
• Strong troubleshooting skills and confidence working independently
• Experience with HVAC electrical, refrigeration, mechanical, and control systems
• Ability to read wiring diagrams and schematics
• Familiarity with HVAC controls and building automation systems
• EPA refrigerant certification
• Valid driver's license
• A strong commitment to safety, quality work, and taking care of customers
