Job summary

Comfort Systems USA – Ohio in Columbus seeks an experienced Commercial HVAC Service Technician to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain a range of commercial systems. You’ll service RTUs, AHUs, heat pumps, boilers, and more, reading wiring diagrams and diagnosing complex issues.

Travel is required in a company vehicle, and you’ll mentor newer technicians while ensuring safety and quality. The ideal candidate has solid HVAC hands-on experience, strong troubleshooting skills, and EPA refrigerant

Qualifications

Solid hands-on commercial HVAC service experience.
Ability to read wiring diagrams and schematics.
Experience with HVAC electrical, refrigeration, mechanical, and control systems.
EPA refrigerant certification required.
Valid driver’s license and safe driving record.

Responsibilities

Troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining commercial HVAC systems.
Working on RTUs, AHUs, heat pumps, boilers, split systems, pumps, motors, and commercial cooling equipment.
Diagnosing mechanical, electrical, refrigeration, airflow, and controls issues.
Performing preventive maintenance, repairs, startups, and system testing.
Talking with customers about findings and recommendations.
Helping less-experienced technicians when they need another set of eyes.
Traveling to customer locations in a company-provided service vehicle.
