Job summary

Hiller Heating and AC is seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to perform thorough inspections, repairs, and replacements in residential settings. You will ensure parts are ordered and ready for service days, while maintaining clear communication with customers.

The role requires 3–5 years of verifiable HVAC experience, strong problem-solving for refrigerant, electrical, and duct systems, and an EPA certificate. Valid driver’s license preferred. Competitive hourly pay and benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3–5 years of verifiable HVAC experience.
• Knowledge of residential HVAC systems and their operation.
• Ability to troubleshoot refrigerant, electrical, and duct systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform a thorough and accurate HVAC inspection.
• Perform HVAC repairs and replacements to applicable codes.
• Facilitate order for parts required for appointments and ensure preparedness for service day.
• Submit purchase orders to dispatch or designated purchasing team administrators.
• Effectively communicate with customers regarding questions, concerns and problems.
• Train, coach and mentor apprentices.
• Maintain a courteous demeanor with customers and associates.

Knowledge, Skills And Abilities

• Have a minimum of 3 to 5 years of verifiable work experience in the HVAC industry.
• Knowledge of the fundamental operational functionality of residential air conditioning, heating, and ventilation equipment.
• Able to troubleshoot problems with refrigerant, electrical, and duct systems on HVAC equipment.

Requirements

• EPA Certified.
• A High School diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
• NATE Certification preferred.
• HVAC certification or Diploma preferred.
• Valid driver's license

$25 - $35 an hour
