You will diagnose and repair furnaces, boilers, heat pumps, and split systems, explain findings to homeowners, and manage a busy schedule using a tablet. On-call rotation is part of the job. Qualifications

• Connecticut D-2 or S-2 journeyperson license is required.
• EPA 608 certification is required.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is required.
• Willingness to participate in the on-call rotation is required.
• NATE or specialty certifications are preferred.
• Oil and propane burner experience (B-2/B-4) is preferred.
• Boiler and steam experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair furnaces, boilers, heat pumps, and split systems across gas, oil, and electric applications.
• Explain findings to homeowners in clear language.
• Provide pricing using a flat-rate repair book.
• Document work with a tablet and manage a full schedule of service calls.
• As Service Tech 3, handle complex escalation calls and mentor developing technicians.

Education

Connecticut D-2 or S-2 journeyperson license

YOUR PATH TO SUCCESS AS OUR HVAC SERVICE TECHNICIAN

THE SCHEDULE:

Full-time position serving Greater New Haven County and Central Connecticut, including participation in an on-call rotation.

YOUR ROLE:

As our HVAC Service Technician, you'll diagnose and repair furnaces, boilers, heat pumps, and split systems across gas, oil, and electric applications. You'll explain findings to homeowners in clear language, provide pricing using a flat-rate repair book, document your work with a tablet, and manage a full schedule of service calls. As a Service Tech 3, you'll handle complex escalation calls and help mentor developing technicians.

OUR REQUIREMENTS:

• Active Connecticut D-2 or S-2 journeyperson license
• EPA 608 certification
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Willingness to participate in the on-call rotation

WE PREFER YOU HAVE:

• NATE certification or specialty certifications
• Oil and propane burner experience (B-2/B-4) in addition to HVAC
• Combustion analysis skill with instruments
• Boiler and steam experience
• Flat-rate pricing experience
• Comfortable with a tablet for job documentation and photos
