Job summary

CJS Heating and Air in Centerville, IA is seeking an HVAC Service Technician to diagnose and repair heating and air conditioning equipment while delivering strong customer service.

You will participate in manufacturer training classes, adhere to safety policies, and work in varied environments from attics to outdoor installations. A minimum of 2–3+ years of residential HVAC experience and a valid driver’s license are required.

• 2-3+ Years of residential HVAC service experience

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work in confined spaces (e.g., attics, crawl spaces, basements).
• Prolonged periods of standing, kneeling, and bending.
• Ability to work at heights (e.g., ladders, elevated plat forms).
• Manual dexterity to handle electrical tools and equipment.
• Ability to work in various weather conditions when performing outdoor installations.
