Job summary

Frantz Plumbing & Heating, based in Biglerville, PA, seeks a skilled HVAC Technician to perform residential and light commercial service, repairs, installations, maintenance, and diagnostics. You will work directly with customers, explain options clearly, and ensure every job is completed safely and to the highest standards.

Qualifications

• Experience with residential and/or commercial HVAC service.
• Diagnostics and troubleshooting expertise.

Responsibilities

About this position

Are you a skilled HVAC technician who takes pride in quality workmanship and delivering outstanding customer service? We're looking for a dependable, motivated HVAC Technician to join our growing team. If you're someone who enjoys solving problems, working independently, and helping customers stay comfortable year-round, we'd love to hear from you.

What You'll Do

As an HVAC Technician, you'll perform residential and light commercial HVAC service, repairs, installations, maintenance, and system diagnostics. Every day brings new challenges—from diagnosing heating and cooling issues to repairing and maintaining furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, boilers, and other HVAC equipment.

You'll work directly with customers, explain repair and replacement options clearly, and ensure every job is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards.

Compensation

$30 - $40 hourly

Responsibilities

We're seeking professionals who are:

• Experienced with residential and/or commercial HVAC service

• Strong troubleshooters with excellent diagnostic skills

• Knowledgeable in heating, cooling, and ventilation systems

• Customer-focused with professional communication skills

• Self-motivated and able to manage a daily service schedule independently

• Comfortable using tablets or mobile devices for work orders

• Able to work safely and follow all applicable codes and manufacturer specifications

• Hold a valid driver's license with a clean driving record

Qualifications

• Experience with gas furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and boilers

• Experience with ductless mini-split systems

• Experience with electrical and low-voltage troubleshooting

• Experience with refrigerant diagnostics and charging

• Experience with indoor air quality systems

• Experience with ServiceTitan, Housecall Pro, or similar software

• NATE certification or other HVAC industry certifications
