Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of residential HVAC service experience.
• EPA Universal Certification required.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities.
• Ability to size HVAC equipment correctly.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Professional and dependable in customer homes.
• NATE certification preferred.

Responsibilities

Pronto Plumbing, Heating, Air & Drain is looking for a seasoned HVAC service technician to join our growing residential service team. This is a field-based role built for a technician who can confidently diagnose problems, communicate solutions to homeowners, and take ownership of each call from start to finish.

Our service territory is intentionally local, with most calls staying within approximately 15-30 miles of the Camp Hill/Harrisburg area. You'll have a take-home company vehicle, gas card, and the support of a growing company that invests in its technicians.

The majority of the work is residential HVAC, with occasional light commercial service.

What You'll Do

• Diagnose and troubleshoot residential heating and cooling systems
• Complete HVAC repairs, replacements of components, and preventative maintenance
• Evaluate system performance and determine the appropriate repair or service solution
• Properly size HVAC equipment according to industry standards when needed
• Explain system conditions, repair options, and recommendations to homeowners in a professional manner
• Document completed work, recommendations, and equipment information accurately
• Use ServiceTitan or similar technology to manage service calls and documentation
• Keep your company vehicle, tools, and work areas clean and organized
• Follow company safety procedures and use appropriate PPE
• Deliver quality workmanship while maintaining a professional customer experience

What You Bring

• 3-5+ years of residential HVAC service experience
• EPA Universal Certification required
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities
• Ability to properly size HVAC equipment
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Professional, dependable approach to working in customers' homes
• Comfortable working independently in the field
• ServiceTitan or comparable field-service software experience is a plus
• NATE certification is preferred

Compensation & Benefits

Schedule & Service Area

• Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM
• Overtime available as needed
• Primarily Camp Hill and greater Harrisburg
• Most calls are within approximately 15-30 miles
• Primarily residential service with occasional light commercial work

Physical Requirements

• Lifting up to 50 pounds
• Frequent bending, kneeling, climbing, and reaching
• Working on ladders and at elevated heights
• Entering crawl spaces and other confined work areas
• Working outdoors and in varying weather conditions
• Wearing required PPE and following job-site safety procedures
