Job summary

Chill Brothers, LLC in Texas is seeking an experienced In-Home Service Technician to diagnose, service, and repair residential HVAC systems. You will work directly with homeowners, provide accurate recommendations, and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.

This full-time, year-round role requires 3–5 years of experience, EPA certification, and a valid driver’s license. You’ll use tablets and service software, and participate in on-call scheduling as needed.

We are looking for In-Home Service Technician who can perform necessary HVAC services.

This position is ideal for someone who is dependable, people-oriented, adaptable, detail oriented, innovative, and has a high stress tolerance.

This position offers a generous wage, commission on sales, and spiffs – we look at past experience and we reward present performance.

This is NOT a seasonal position; this is a full-time year-round position.

Job Requirements

Required Credentials:

• EPA Universal and valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• HVAC license a plus and rewarded (TDLR).
• Nate certified is a plus.
• 3 to 5 years experience with servicing residential HVAC Systems; all brands, models, and ages of HVAC Equipment, including, but not limited to communicating systems.
• Strong interpersonal and communications skills, time management skills, and organizational skills.
• Experience with tablets, mobile applications, and other computer software.
• The desire to work some evenings, holidays, and weekends.

• Spiffs and commissions on system sales when applicable

Our Service Technicians are responsible for diagnosing, servicing, repairing, and maintaining

residential HVAC systems while providing an excellent customer experience.

What You’ll Do

• Diagnose, service, repair, and maintain residential HVAC systems
• Troubleshoot a variety of HVAC equipment, brands, models, and system types, including communicating systems.
• Clearly explain system findings, repair options, and recommendations to homeowners.
• Identify opportunities for repairs, system improvements, and replacement when appropriate.
• Accurately document service calls and customer information using company-provided technology and software.
• Maintain a professional appearance and provide excellent customer service.
• Follow all company safety procedures and service standards.
• Maintain company vehicle, tools, and equipment.
• Participate in evening, weekend, holiday, and on-call scheduling as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of residential HVAC service experience required.
• EPA certification required.
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record required.
• Texas HVAC registration/license (TDLR) preferred.
• NATE certification is a plus.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience servicing multiple HVAC brands, models, and system types.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to manage time effectively and work independently.
• Comfortable using tablets, mobile applications, and other service software.
• Dependable, organized, detail-oriented, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
